And you sat, Sisyphus, on your rock: The bright lyre of Orpheus was enough to make even Sisyphus pause in his eternal task.
We’re looking for poetry and short-form writing that struggles against the manifold oppressions and degradations of Hell (a crumbling empire). Unendurable is a space for the writing that contextualizes your eternal, ironic punishment, and maybe even attempts to wring some dignity out of it.
Send a maximum of 5 pages total of poetry or 3 pages of prose. Include your submission in the body of the email or as an attached .docx, shared google doc or .pdf.
